Masterclass
Leerlingen in 6 vwo en 5 havo doen in onze eigen school een internationaal examen via het International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Dit is een Cambridge-examen dat speciaal voor onze school wordt verzorgd door het British Language Training Centre in Amsterdam.
Leerlingen die goed blijken te zijn in Engels kunnen - met extra begeleiding - een internationaal erkend certificaat Engels halen dat toelating biedt tot universiteiten in Engeland en Amerika en tot internationale opleidingen. Het kan een aanbeveling zijn bij selecties en bij sollicaties naar internationale instellingen.
Vorig jaar nam een groep van 36 leerlingen deel aan dit examen. Het resultaat was 100% geslaagden.

The English International Masterclass in 5 HAVO and 6 VWO offers a course of about 25 lessons in small groups to prepare for the Cambridge Exam - International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
IELTS is the generally accepted international exam for entrance to academic education in the Netherlands today. All foreign students entering Dutch (international) universities and higher education need to pass this test and obtain at least a 6.5 . Students at Erasmus aim for the 7.0 and the average last year was 7.6 , five of our students scored 8.5. The top score, that of the native speaker, is 9.0.

De pioniers van het eerste uur! (maart 2002)
A large number of students in our school have obtained excellent results as a result of an intensive training course of about 25 lessons in the final year. Many of our students invest in an international future and they also look for a creative challenge in writing and in speaking.
Thanks to the efforts of a number of native speakers available to us, the fluency of all candidates is at near-native level.
Half the cost of the exam is paid for by Erasmuscollege.
